Cellphone radiation not harmful; says COAI

MUMBAI, INDIA: The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), a representative body for GSM operators in India, brushed aside the claims that radiation from mobile phones and cellular towers had adverse effect on human body, as mere "misconceptions and apprehensions".

This comes as a breezer, setting at rest the fears of health hazards owing to cellphone usage, for the time being.
