CD on company directory

NEW DELHI: The Department of Company Affairs has released a CD ROM on company

directory containing 5.22 lakh companies registered as on March 31, 1999. The CD

contains registration number, name, address, date of registration, products and

services of 5.22 lakh companies registered with the offices of Registrar of

Companies. Contents are well supported with Windows-based software facilitating

company search, companies in a particular business activity, mailing labels,

title search for new company registration, corporate growth analysis as well as

information on branches subsidiaries of foreign companies in India.
