Even with enterprises having to make do with flat IT budgets, analysts such as IDC have indicated a growth trajectory for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) compared to on-premise software.
While the advantage for SMBs with limited IT investment is well-defined, am not so sure about the larger enterprises who have already made huge investments on-premise.
