CAD training program launched in India

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has signed a partnership agreement with CAD Potential Inc. (CADPO) USA, for imparting the training and certification for CAD based automotive designing. While, CADPO has been selected by SAE as its worldwide partner, Kalyani Net Ventures has been selected by CADPO, as its Indian partner for implementing SAE's CAD Training & Certification Program in India.






CADPO deals with CAD training and is the corporate training partner for 40 different organizations worldwide. SAE Automotive CAD certification is recognized as the only international program that provides the necessary developing and measuring automotive CAD skills as per the independent worldwide standards. To develop quality and consistency in automotive design resources around the world, SAE International and CADPO have been working with leading automotive organizations to create the industry's first automotive CAD certification, which was recently launched in Detroit.





Kalyani Net Ventures Ltd director technical and Bharat Forge Sr. VP Shyam Takale said, "Since Kalyani is into training and engineering services for the automotive sector, this association of KNVL & CADPO, is a strategic fit into the organizations overall growth strategy. It will now be easier for automotive companies in India to identify industry talent, with automotive-specific design and engineering skills, and the understanding of automotive best practices." As per the agreement, KNVL will have rights for India and will be responsible for activities such as marketing, training and certification.

The SAE Automotive CAD certification aims at increasing the knowledge necessary to be a successful automotive CAD engineer and addresses specific needs outlined by some of the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
