C-DAC launches e-learning course

HYDERABAD: C-DAC, Hyderabad has launched its first e-learning course CCSPM (Core Competency in Software Process Management). The online course has been developed in collaboration with Hyderabad based Innovation Communication Systems Ltd (ICS) and is priced at Rs 4,000.



"This course is going to be of three months duration and will provide insights into areas such as software development methodologies, software project management, and software quality management. This course is aimed as a self paced learning program offered in e-learning mode using the in-house developed e-learning platform," said, Dr Sarat Chandra Babu, Program Head at C-DAC Hyderabad.



Initially, C-DAC is targeting to attract around 100 students for this course." We have the infrastructure to accommodate as many students as possible but we will start with around 100 initially and our target is to have more than 100 students by the end of this year," he added.



C-DAC and ICS have already signed a MoU wherein they are having a revenue sharing model for this course. "ICS is providing all the content necessary for this course and we have a proper revenue sharing model with C-DAC.," said, Dr KVKK Prasad, Director - Technology at ICS.
