C-DAC launches three new courses

PUNE: Center for Development of Advance Computing (C-DAC) has launched its new training initiative called GraDE IT (Graduate Diploma in Emerging Information Technology) course, keeping in view the requirement projections of the IT industry for skilled human resource.



A student of GraDE has the option of pursuing one or more of the range of diploma of certificate courses that make up the GraDE IT program. The program offers courses suitable for a range of users from beginners to working professionals who wish to upgrade and enhance their knowledge.






The highpoint of GraDE IT is a unique credit system, which allows the students to leverage their existing computing knowledge and to continually upgrade their skills. The credits gained by a student in a previous course can be accumulated and carried forward while attempting the successive course.





C-DAC has also launched its Pre-DAC (Preparatory course for Diploma in Advance Computing) online course as part of its e-learning initiative. This course caters to various categories of aspiring IT professionals who seek reliable, contemporary and quality training in advanced computing.





Adapting its Pre-DAC course to suit the e-Learning environment, C-DAC ACTS has employed various online tools for communication, collaboration and course delivery. The course will comprise of online sessions with instructors and support staff.





According to RK Arora, executive director, C-DAC, the teaching methodology and Internet technologies will equip the students with relevant knowledge and skills to tackle the Common Entrance Test for C-DAC’s Diploma in Advance Computing.


C-DAC has also launched its Diploma in Multimedia Creations (DMC). C-DAC’s National Multimedia Resource Center (NMRC) offers DMC as a part-time course specially designed to provide a foundation to candidates aspiring to pursue a career in computer graphics, publication, designing and multimedia.
