As part of the campaign, C-DAC will offer three types of programmes - one day symposia, two day workshops and three day training programmes, across the country during the next two years. These programmes are targeted to provide insight into the PKI for adapting secure communications over the cyberspace on applications on e-governance, online transactions, E-commerce, etc.

The broad-band revolution and next generation mobile revolution driven by 3G will fuel growth in this segment and putting together PKI has to go hand-in-hand with broad-based participation and awareness to ensure safe and exponential growth. By conducting this pioneering series, C-DAC has been given an important technology as well as promotional role”.

The symposium was attended by top officials from various government departments, police and fire forces, industries, banking and financial institutions, professionals and academia.
