CIOL: What are the major technology investments at your enterprise?

Shan: Mobility, security, data center, customer communication services are some of the areas where we invested heavily in our company.

CIOL: What are your strategies and plans for future?

Shan: We are planning to outsource more and provide demand-based solutions to our customers.

CIOL: Areas of interest from recent tech-breakthroughs?

Shan: Cloud infrastructure, data center, connectivity and collaboration, green IT, infrastructure management and virtualization etc.

CIOL: Advice to peers in terms of lessons, mistakes or challenges you experienced?

Shan: a) Business IT solutions is an area where you can innovate, commit and execute. You should be attracted more towards business, not technology. Further, the challenges should deliver the best aspirations through your roles.

b)Be a good human being to align the demands of common people and to provide customers the solutions of the hour.
