Chamberlain's MyQ garage includes a cloud-based Wi-Fi hub that can be used in combination with openers from most existing major garage door opener manufacturers. Users can install MyQ in minutes and there are no monthly or ongoing service fees.

Broadcom's Bluetooth smart technology is also integrated into the MyQ door sensor, providing immediate notification via the user's mobile device in the event of a security breach. The combination of world class connectivity and remote accessibility give users unprecedented control over a primary entrance into the home.

"The growth of the IoT is driving innovation from companies of all sizes and across all industries, and we are thrilled that our wireless connectivity can help inspire new products and use cases," said Brian Bedrosian, Broadcom senior director, Wireless Connectivity.
