BANGALORE: Erstwhile Tejasvi Consultancy Services now Brainswave
Technologies, is bullish and betting on home-grown products. It has released
three new products and is in the process of releasing at least four more by the
end of the current fiscal. The products are targeted at various segments, such
as healthcare, finance, education, manufacturing and human resources.
The developed and released products are, Blood Link- a blood bank management
application, Albrains.com — a recruitment assistant and Ikar- a income tax
assistance application.
It was started initially as a offshore development and international
implementation services for Ireland based, Kindle banking Systems. With Kindle
setting ups its Indian development arm in Bangalore, Brainswave strategically
planned to step up its product development and roll out indigenously developed
products.
"India’s IT spending is on the rise. Provided with cost effective,
competitive application, small and medium companies along with the large
enterprises are willing to spend on setting up applications to enhance their
businesses. Once ready with our products, we are all out with our go-to-market

Soon to follow from the company’s stable are a Application for Hospital
Management, Blood Bank Management, A1 Bankers- a finance application and A1 SCM-
a web based Supply Chain Management (SCM) are soon to follow.
The company currently has a workforce of 45 and is expected to scale up to
100 by January 2003. A capital investment of Rs 50 lakh has been made so far, by
an angel investor Surendra Singh J Bhalla and will soon pump in another Rs 1
crore in further development of products. It expects a revenue of Rs 2.5 to Rs 3
crore this year.
