BPO/Career Mart: Jobs galore

BANGALORE: The booming BPO industry seems to very complacent with its success, for the pavilion at the Bangalore IT.com had just about a few big BPO/call center players.

Progeon, ICICI OneSource, Convergys, 24/7 Customer were the big daddies of the industry, who had set up stalls in the pavilion. All of them were on a recruiting spree and were equipped with registration forms et al. The first and second day of the event has attracted inquiries and registrations in hundreds, said one of the participants.

Another major attraction at the career mart stall is the BPO/call center assessment centers, which assess the voice capabilities of those aspiring to join call centers.

HR solutions firm Adecco PeopleOne Consulting, which provides executive search, recruitment, training etc was attracting a lot of attention and had about 400 inquiries by the second day of the event.

ISEEC, another HR training service provider was offering an introductory offer on communication, personality and confidence only for those registering during IT.com.

The others participating in the event are Vigent Info solutions, naukri.com and GVR electronics.
