BPCL drills ProcessMAP platform

HYDERANAD, INDIA: ProcessMAP Corporation, a Cloud-based enterprise software provider of Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) management, and Sustainability performance management, announced that Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of India's largest Oil & Gas companies with revenue of INR 2,136 Billion (about $ 39 Billion), has been leveraging ProcessMAP's platform to measure, monitor and report its sustainability and carbon emissions.

As a press note explains: Being one of the most diversified Oil & Gas companies in India with operations ranging from oil exploration to retail distribution, BPCL's Lube Division faced the challenge to improve its processes in tracking and reporting sustainability data. Some of the priorities included streamlining data collection, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data, complying with GHG protocol emissions calculations and managing key process metrics. In addition, complexity in consolidation of energy data from disparate systems provided very limited visibility, making it difficult for managers and directors to get real-time information.

BPCL, as further added, needed a proven, reliable and scalable solution that could help the organization simplify data collection and automate data reporting on real-time basis. To ensure data integrity and accuracy, they also needed the solution to support data validation and audit trail requirements.
