Blaze DFM becomes SoftJin customer

SANTA CLARA, USA & BANGALORE, INDIA: SoftJin, a customized EDA tool development company, recently announced that Blaze DFM, the electrical design for manufacturing (DFM) company, had joined SoftJin's growing list of customers for custom EDA software components.

SoftJin's software component development and licensing business model has proved crucial for bringing quality DFM software to market faster. Its offerings used by Blaze include the Bi-directional OpenAccess to OASIS Translator and custom verification package for validation of key software 

modules of Blaze's products.

Nachiket Urdhwareshe, CEO of SoftJin, said: "Our customized EDA tools model using a combination of custom tool development and re-usable software components have been accepted as the way to go by several semiconductor and EDA companies. This approach enabled us to deliver our first product, Blaze MO leakage power optimization software, in less than 18 months"
