However, the initial reception of the price tag of BlackBerry Z10 does not seem to be good. The ''high price'' of BlackBerry Z10 has led to a number of jokes on the smartphone with the hash tag Rs. 43,490. ''BlackBerry Z10 for Rs 43,490. You can laugh now. The joke is over,'' says a tweet. ''On a side note, its priced at Rs. 43,490. Greedy buggers,'' says another.

''Wow, BlackBerry Z10 for Rs 43,490 including a 7 days 6 nights tour to Bangkok ! :D'' jokes a Twitterati. Some consumers are of the view that the smartphone should not be priced more than Rs. 30,000 if BlackBerry wants to reclaim its market share. ''The hardware configuration isn't that great, ideal price should not be more than Rs 30000 if RIM wants to reclaim their market share,'' says a CIOL reader.

The new BlackBerry Z10 is a complete touch device with a 4.2-inch capacitive display. The Z10 packs in Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor paired with 2GB RAM. There will also be a 16GB onboard storage along with the expandable memory of up to 32 GB. There is also an 8MP camera that can draw on benefits from the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

However, considering the fact that BlackBerry is banking on India and Indonesia as its markets, do you feel that they have gone wrong with the pricing? Do let us know your views.
