BlackBerry India MD Narendra Nayak quits

BlackBerry India's Managing Director, Narendra Nayak has resigned from the company. The company has confirmed the development and told Economic Times, "Narendra Nayak has departed BlackBerry and we thank him for his contribution to the company."

Narendra Nayak joined Blackberry in October 2015 as Managing Director. Before joining Blackberry he has worked with companies such as Motorola, IBM India, CSC India and Lingua Next Technologies. He is an industry veteran with more than thirty-five years of experience. His next destination is unknown.

A spokesperson for the company said, "India is a very important market for BlackBerry, a leader in cybersecurity and we continue to grow our business and support our customers and partners."

Meanwhile, after the resignation of Nayak, Shantanu Srivastava, Vice President of the Asia Pacific and Japan is now overseeing the India operations.
