BJP to connect all party members with DigitalBJP app

HARYANA, INDIA: To connect all the office-bearers and party workers across the country to a central information repository, Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)  has launched a mobile cloud based application, DigitalBJP.

Developed by the Delhi based Newgen Software, the cloud based application was launched for the Haryana unit of the party today and will be gradually scaled up to cover the entire country within the next 12 months.

After launching the app in Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said, "The application will be of immense benefit to karyakartas as well as the party leadership as it will not only help them stay connected to each other but also to stay updated on party developments from across our vast country.”

The Digital BJP is envisaged to become a single central source for all related information right from day to day activities to the historical information.

The platform is well integrated with social media to quickly disseminate information, perceived to be a of great competitive advantage.

At full scale, close to 12000-15000 party office bearers at various levels will eventually be able to upload content to the platform apart from party workers who will be able to view and share the content.
