Bilingual CBS HCL BancMate on to Oracle

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Oracle partner, HCL Infosystems has successfully migrated its bilingual core banking software, HCL BancMate CBS, to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (Oracle Weblogic 11g) and Oracle Database 11g. Oracle India Partner Solution Center (PSC), located in Oracle’s premises in Gurgaon, facilitated the quick enablement and migration of the solution.

A press release adds that the Oracle-based HCL BancMate CBS solution helps firms in the financial services industry automate transactions, facilitate branch operations at a faster pace and manage more transactions per day.         This solution targets India’s financial service industry namely Public Sector Banks for Financial Inclusion, Regional Rural Banks, State and District Co-operative banks, Urbank Co-operative Banks and Primary Agricultural Credit societies.

“HCL BancMate is India's first and only bi-lingual (multi-lingual) Web based core banking solution that communicates with users and account holders in their local language. The new and improved features of Oracle technology will further help us address the complexities prevalent in rural and large banks in India and we are sure that this enablement of HCL BancMate CBS onto Oracle’s latest editions of Fusion Middleware and Database will offer high quality service to our customers,” said George Paul, Executive Vice President, HCL Infosystems Ltd.
