Bigmouthmedia team up with Skype

BANGALORE, INDIA: Bigmouthmedia, search marketing company, has joined forces with Skype. The news comes after a successful merger with German search agency Global Media which now sees bigmouthmedia with a presence in 11 countries worldwide.

Skype was founded in 2003 by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis and has expanded globally over the past 4 years.  Currently, Skype has over 196 million registered users worldwide.

Bigmouthmedia will work with Skype to manage its comprehensive organic search offering across the major search engines, initially within 8 geographic locations worldwide including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Brazil, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Japan. The appointment comes at an exciting time for both companies with each expanding quickly worldwide.

Speaking after the appointment, bigmouthmedia MD Lyndsay Menzies said “We are thrilled to be chosen as Skype’s first search agency for the UK. Skype is such an exciting brand and one we are delighted to be associated with."
