Bharti Infratel ties-up with IBM

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Bharti Infratel, the telecom passive infrastructure providing arm of Bharti Airtel, selected IBM for its Intelligent Site Operations.

IBM will cater to Bharti Infratel's 32,000 tower-sites spread across 11 telecom circles in the country.

IBM’s Intelligent Site Operations will provide Bharti Infratel real-time visibility and insight to centrally monitor and manage their tower infrastructure along with centrally orchestrating and tracking operations.

IBM Intelligent Site Operations also integrates third-party sensors and controllers with IBM Tivoli Netcool for network and service management; IBM Maximo for enterprise asset management; IBM Cognos for dashboards and analytics; and IBM ILOG.
