Bengaluru, Delhi to get Genius Experience Zones

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The touch and feel concept has become the order of the day and the latest vendor to join the bandwagon is Genius, the peripheral brand of KYE Corporations.

The company will be setting up a Genius Experience Zone this month in Bengaluru followed by another at Nehru Place in Delhi in the month of October.

Talking about the outlets, Sandeep Ramani, OBM—Sales Division, Country Manager, KYE Corporations mentioned, “The customer buying behaviour in India is changing and they want to touch and feel the products before buying them. Keeping the same in mind we will be opening up a number of Genius Experience Zones in association with our premium partners.”

The company has plans to set up experience zones in collaboration with their partners and will be putting the entire range of Genius products including lifestyle products, gaming products and accessories on display.

In addition to this the company is also looking at expanding its service centers in order to strengthen its service network. Genius already has service in all the metro cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi.

However Genius has recently launched a service center in Hyderabad and will add another two in the North and the Western region.

“In order to give confidence to our reseller partners we have resolved to strengthen our service center network. This aside we have already been running a program for our partners wherein they can courier the products that needs to be serviced and one side freight for the product will be bourne by us.”

In addition to this the company will also be strengthening its channel network. The company will be increasing the Genius Volume Partner base that currently stands at 125 and will take the count to 250 by December 2008. In addition the company will also be expanding its tier-2 partner base that comprises reseller partners.  

As part of its distribution strategy the company will be organizing a number of dealer meets in all metro cities to educate and inform channel partners about the new product offerings.
