Belkin eyes 60 p.c. growth, Rs. 250 cr revenue in 2012

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Belkin, a manufacturer of wireless networking, mobile, and power management products, announced that it is eyeing 60 per cent growth in 2012, targeting Rs.250 crore ($48 million) of revenue and expects to touch Rs 1,000 crore by 2015.

The company sees a huge opportunity in the Indian market, where the IT peripherals market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 24 per cent during the period 2011-2015.

The company has also introduced 24/7 technical support in Hindi language, which it claims is first-of-its kind in India.

Speaking to CIOL, on the sidelines of a press conference, Mohit Anand, MD, Belkin India said that they wanted their presence to be felt. “We have launched technical support helpline where we will offer remote trouble shoot,” he said.

Belkin’s toll free phone number does not have operator restrictions and will offer technical assistance and remote trouble for its networking products such as routers.
