Belkin appoints Kerman Rana as country manager

MUMBAI, INDIA: Belkin announced that Kerman Rana, former VP of D-Link India, joined Belkin India as Country Manager.

Rana said: "As you know, Belkin has recently taken over Linksys and we are merging both the teams. Within six months our merged and restructured organization will fully establish itself and will be surging ahead. In the newly merged organization quality and brand positioning will be the main focus areas."

Belkin, founded in California in 1983, is the well-known global provider in connectivity solutions. Belkin offers a diverse and far-reaching product mix including innovations for easy-to-use networking solutions and accessories for iPod players, among others.

Now Linksys' technologies, including its routers and the Smart Wi-Fi portfolio and services, will be managed and maintained by Belkin, but as a separate brand and product portfolio.
