Beacon, through a predecessor company, has been working with this client since 2001 and continues to introduce ITS infrastructure solutions to assist in the client’s commitments to high standards and improving and preserving human life.

As part of this new engagement, Beacon will perform ITS engineering inspections at several locations in Dublin, Ireland that have been identified by the client as potential locations for a new facility.

Based upon the currently available technology infrastructure inside and outside the location, Beacon will evaluate and recommend the facility that best fits the client’s needs. Once the client has accepted the recommendation and contracted for the facility, Beacon will perform comprehensive Layer 1 engineering and design of systems throughout the new facility.

Bruce Widener, CEO of Beacon Enterprise Solutions said, “Large global enterprise clients have complex technical needs, challenging environments and diverse geography. Part of our enterprise strategy involves developing comprehensive ITS solutions that can assist our clients in responding to market conditions and competitors’ movements through Beacon’s ITS managed services including planning, design, project management for structured cabling, outside plant, data center, open office, and smart building services — all under a single agreement or purchase order. The market for fully integrated ITS solutions at this scale and over this geography is largely untapped.”
