CAMPBELL, USA: Barracuda Networks Inc., a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, has announced it is offering free migration of data from SugarSync - or other major file sync and share services - into its Copy file sync and share platform. By providing free migration, Copy offers a compelling alternative to users of SugarSync, which this week announced that all SugarSync users must transition to paid-only plans.

SugarSync users can visit www.copy.com/sugar to begin their migration process.

SugarSync announced that it will switch to a paid-only model on February 8, 2014, eliminating its free 5GB plan2. Barracuda has partnered with Mover, a leader in online data migration, to migrate those users simply and free of charge over to the Copy platform.

Said Rod Mathews, GM Storage, Barracuda:""As SugarSync changes the terms of its service, many of its users will want to move their files to another cloud storage provider. By leveraging our partnership with Mover, we're able to provide users with a fast, simple and secure solution to migrate files - free of charge - into our Copy platform. We encourage SugarSync customers to try Copy, particularly as they are going through this transition."

Why make the switch to Copy?

In addition to the cost benefits of transferring files free of charge, Barracuda makes the transition from SugarSync to Copy an easy one with multiple benefits. Copy allows users to securely import and upload documents, images, videos and any other files to share with other users or access them from a different location or device. Copy also features integration with Barracuda's popular SignNow service to seamlessly enable eSignatures within Copy. Users receive 15GB storage free of charge upon initial signup, and are eligible for additional free cloud storage in 5GB increments per the Copy referral program. Additional restrictions apply. See terms and conditions located at www.copy.com.
