BangaloreIT.com: show time again!

BANGALORE: The seventh edition of the annual IT exhibition that regales Bangalore and attracts the IT industry across the globe, which includes the enterprises as well as the common man, is scheduled to be held between November 1-5, 2004.



Dubbed as the largest ICT event in India, BangaloreIT.com had two hundred and eighty five ICT companies participating last year. The overseas count in that was over 120 and business delegations from 15 foreign countries including USA, Germany, Japan, UK, China etc., graced the event.



It has been an eventful year, since the last edition of BangaloreIT.com as there has been a change of governments. SM Krishna, has been replaced by Dharam Singh as the Chief Minister of the leading technology state in India. The Government of Karnataka is yet to appoint the IT minister, post elections, which had earlier witnessed DB Inamdar as the minister for Tourism and IT. The IT and BT secretary, Shankaralinge Gowda has been newly appointed, replacing KM Shivkumar.



The government has planned to announce the proposed plans for BangaloreIT.com on Monday, July 5, 2004.
