We have received an overwhelming response from our members in Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guntur Vijayawada and Rajahmundry and we are certain that members in Punjab too would benefit significantly. The convenience of easy selection and payment along with efficient delivery of quality products at their doorstep are among the few factors that have led to the success of this initiative. We value our members and strive to give them an excellent shopping experience.”

The B2B e-commerce platform is already running successfully in the five Best Price stores (Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guntur, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry) and valuable members of Best Price are immensely benefiting from this added convenience, the company added. The company launched its first B2B e-commerce platform on 1st July 2014 for members of Lucknow and Hyderabad Best Price stores. In October and December 2014, it was made available to members in Guntur, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry.

Prior to the launch, various workshops were organized to generate awareness amongst members on this initiative and also to create better understanding about the website navigation, benefits and registration processes. Walmart India operates five Best Price stores in Punjab - Amritsar, Bhatinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Zirakpur.
