PONDICHERRY: Pondicherry-based Medical Transcription Company — Azimuth
software, plans to launch its own e-learning
portal for TOEFL courses shortly.
Talking to Cyber Media News, Azimuth's General Manager K Anand informed
that the initial testing of the offline model had already been done and the
company was planning to launch it in the coming months.
“We have tried out the model of both online and offline teaching. For this
purpose, we had conducted courses for about 25 people, of whom most were
successful in their final appearance for TOEFL,” he informed.
Anand said that the e-learning portal would be called Azimuth Academy, which
would also venture into teaching other prospective courses such as medical
transcription and the like.
“The admission for the courses would be scheduled as per batches, and
payments could be made online, using credit or debit cards,” he said.
Anand added: “Azimuth would also launch offline centers, to help those who
want to get the 'real-feel' apart from the 'virtual feel' of learning
the courses offered.”
He said that the course (s) would be of short durations and the fee would be
much affordable as compared to other offline players.
Azimuth has developed the courseware, in-house for the sessions.
