Avon, Skywire bag Motorola awards

SINGAPORE: Avon Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd has been awarded the Motorola 2007 APAC Enterprise Mobility Award.

Motorola’s 2007 APAC Partner Ecosystem Award has gone to Skywire (Australia) Pvt Ltd and Pronto Software for their collaboration on a mobile data capture and management solution. 

The awards, announced today by the Vice President of Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility business, Asia Pacific, Mike Muller, recognise Motorola PartnerSelect members for their ability to provide customers with innovative, end-to-end business solutions which accelerate growth, productivity and operational efficiency.

Avon was honoured for a mobile banking solution for Deutsche Bank India which improved the bank’s turn around time while providing it with transparency and complete control of nationwide field banking operations.

Skywire and Pronto Software were honoured for their collaboration on an innovative mobile data capture and management solution for Hirotec Maintenance Pty Ltd.

"These awards are all about recognising PartnerSelect members that add value for our customers by simplifying business processes and saving time," said Muller.

"All of the award submissions were worthy of recognition, clearly illustrating that Motorola partners across the globe are coming up with some pretty amazing enterprise mobility solutions that streamline operations and improve profitability.

“The panel of judges had a difficult time but Avon’s implementation of the Deutsche Bank Mobile Banking Application took line honours because of the level of innovation displayed. The system is a truly mobile, remote banking application that reduces turn-around time and importantly contributes to enhanced customer services and satisfaction,” added Muller.

The panel awarded the Partner Ecosystem Award to Skywire and Pronto Software for collaboratively developing a solution that won customer confidence, as well as bringing significant return on investments. Hirotec’s data management processes have been streamlined and are now available in real-time. The company is planning additional, uses for its enterprise mobility system which will add value to customer services and gain competitive advantage.
