Aventail launches EX-1600

HYDERABAD: Aventail today launched EX-1600, an addition to its family of secure remote access appliances.

The Aventail EX-1600 utilizes the latest in hardware design and is a pure network appliance. It features a small footprint, lightweight chassis and front panel LAN ports and controls for easy rack mounting and ongoing management. Designed specifically for the mid market, the EX-1600 supports 25 to 250 concurrent users.

The EX-1600 is ideal for disaster recovery deployments or for organizations that want to ensure always-on remote access for their users. It comes standard with 2 10/100 Ethernet ports for LAN/WAN connectivity and one 1000 Base-T port for a high-availability common connection.

EX-1600 is built around Aventail's proven smart SSL VPN platform, which leads the market in ease of use, ease of policy control, application reach and end point security. The Aventail EX-1600 appliance is priced starting at $9,995 and is currently available through Aventail's global channel of value added resellers and systems integrators.
