This announcement follows the company's global acquisition of Nortel’s Enterprise Solutions business.

Lancon brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including most recently as president of EMEA and Asia Pacific for Nortel Enterprise Solutions. Effective immediately, Lancon will report to Todd Abbott, senior vice president, Global Sales and Marketing and president, Field Operations.

Lancon replaces John DiLullo who has been transferred to assume an expanded portfolio heading up Canada and Latin America, said a press release.

Abbott said, “Francois’ wealth of executive experience in business management and operations in the region, combined with his passion for serving customers, will help fuel our business growth to the next level.”

On the occasion, Lancon said, “We will continue to recruit, develop and retain the best talent in the region and successfully integrating both the Avaya and Nortel Enterprise Solutions teams to drive the highest quality customer and partner experiences in our industry.”
