AVANT receives CMTL advanced tested certification for mSATA SSDs

ANAHEIM, USA: CMTL or Computer Memory Test Labs, the industry's leading independent memory compatibility and functionality testing lab, announced that the first group of mSATA form factor SSDs (Solid State Drive) manufactured by AVANT Technology have successfully passed CMTL's Advanced Tested certification process on the Intel NUC platforms.

CMTL's president, John Deters, stated: "We are excited to expand our advanced memory product testing on the Intel NUC platforms to include mSATA SSD products manufactured by AVANT Technology. When the AVANT Technology testing is completed, Intel NUC customers will have a source of advanced tested mSATA drives ranging from 30GB to 480GB on Intel NUC platforms."

AVANT's Business Development manager, Greg Bow, added: "Having our mSATA drives tested on the Intel NUC platforms allows Intel NUC customers to buy advanced tested SODIMMS and mSATA drives from the same manufacturer. Buying both products from the same source as a kit allows for seamless support and product compatibility."
