A fundamental requirement for attaining the best science, engineering or other research output from high performance computing is that users and programmers have the skills required to use the technology. NAG's range of HPC Services offerings are designed to solve this challenge.

NAG is pleased to reveal that over 2,000 attendees have now benefitted from NAG's highly rated HPC training courses under the UK's national Computational Support and Engineering (CSE) Support Service.

NAG has operated the UK's national CSE Support Service as a core part of the HECToR supercomputing service since 2006. This service provides support for application performance and capability enhancements, along with HPC training, to UK users of HPC facilities.

The training courses under the program have consistently seen strong demand and have been rated highly by the attendees. NAG has so far offered 26 different courses at 23 locations totalling 350 days of training. Individuals benefitting from NAG's HPC training have come from over 50 institutions.
