Asus ZenFone Zoom with 3X optical zoom set to hit India in January

BANGALORE, INDIA: After ZenFone range, ASUS is now gearing up to reinvent smartphone photography with unprecedented hardware technology in the ZenFone Zoom, which is going to hit the Indian market later this month.

Asus first announced the Zenfone Zoom at last year's CES and released the device first in Taiwan last month.

The new ZenFone Zoom will come equipped  with a 13 MP primary camera with 3X Optical Zoom, Laser Auto Focus and 10 lenses with OIS for better image quality. The device also features Asus’ Pixelmaster technology that helps in taking no-flash low-light shots.

The 4G Dual-SIM device which released in Taiwan features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and powered by the Intel Atom quad-core 2.5GHz processor Z3950 or 2.3GHz Z3580 processor. The devices comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD slot  and has a fixed 3,000 mAh fixed battery.

The device runs on Android 5.0 with ASUS ZenUI on top.

The phone is likely to be priced at Rs. 27000 approx.
