The 10-inch LED backlit Eee PC comes with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 160GB hard disk with an additional 10GB of Eee Online storage, added the release.

According to Gopal Swaminathan, general manager, OEM Business, Intel India, "The Intel Atom processor is based on an entirely new micro architecture designed specifically for small devices and low power. It measures less than 25 mm², making it Intel's smallest processor yet.”

He further added that the Intel Atom processor is intended to power devices like the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE for children, first-time Internet users and people who desire an extra PC for basic computing applications, listening to music, e-mailing and surfing the Internet.
