Aspire Systems announces acquisition of Applied Development

BANGALORE, INDIA: Aspire Systems, a global technology services firm with a strong focus on Independent Software Vendors, today announced the acquisition of Applied Development, a Belgium-based IT offshoring company that develops software for European customers in India. This acquisition will help Aspire expand into the European market, particularly in the Benelux region (includes Belgium, Netherlands & Luxemburg), with a recognized client base created by Applied Development.

Applied Development was founded by Bipin Nambiar and Ivan Vercruysse in Belgium. With a headcount of fifty employees in India and Belgium, Applied Development recorded a 45pc increase in revenue last year. The company is known for its best practices in software development and provides services for product development companies & enterprises to build professional software cost-effectively. Applied Development's business model is based on a combination of European project management and Indian development. The company has a strong client base in Continental Europe and has established solid long-term relationships with customers.
