This enhances the company's portfolio currently being offered to the enterprise segment with 20KVA and 10KVA product for the customer to choose from depending on their specific requirements, an Asia Powercom statement said.

The advantage of a VGD series of UPS for an enterprise customer is that the product has a better input power factor that draws lesser current, resulting in economic consumption. The company also plans to extend this range and launch 30 KVA shortly.

According to Tejas Sheth, director, Asia Powercom, "We have effectively expanded our bouquet of offerings to provide the customers with a wide choice. We will now be able to target large corporates and institutions with our higher range of online UPS range, provide them with tailored solutions and come out with a win-win proposition for the channel and the customer."

The Powercom Vanguard series' communications are flexible, allowing for local, network or remote monitoring and management. The Powercom Vanguard includes the latest version of Powercom's UPSMON Software Suite, which provides power monitoring and shutdown software.

The company had recently launched Rackmount range of products and emerged as a company a full range service provider with respect to technology in the UPS segment.
