Said Frank Kern, CEO, Aricent: "We are fortunate to have a dedicated and proven leader with such an outstanding track record as CP. I have every confidence in CP's ability to further drive Aricent's profitable growth and continue to add value for our clients, investors and employees."

Murali has been with Aricent for close to two decades and has been responsible for product engineering services since 2007. Under his guidance, Aricent successfully restructured from a captive software development firm to the industry-leading engineering software and services company it is today.

As President and COO, Murali will be responsible for translating Aricent's vision and strategy into the action plans that will ultimately achieve that vision, while managing the day-to-day operations of the business. This includes providing ongoing direction to all business units, offering carefully considered guidance to all functions and working closely with the company's sales and marketing organizations. Murali will also continue to spend a significant part of his time with Aricent's clients in order to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the company's delivery and quality. Murali is based in India, where Aricent has their largest population of employees.

Prior to joining Aricent in 1994, Murali served at the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), New Delhi, where he was part of the pioneering software engineering team that designed and developed indigenous Digital Switching Systems for the Indian market.
