Aquilent named as Amazon Web Services premier consulting partner

LAUREL,USA: Aquilent, a recognized provider of Mobile, Web, and Cloud solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the federal government, has been named Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Consulting Partner for a second year. With this designation-held by only 15 companies worldwide, and only six public sector providers-Aquilent customers will continue to benefit from its deep investment in, and knowledge of, both the AWS and Federal cloud environments.

AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partners help customers design, architect, migrate, or build new applications on AWS, according to Amazon. AWS Premier Consulting Partners are companies that "have distinguished themselves by investing significantly in their AWS practice, providing exceptional customer service, helping a large number of significant customers run their applications on top of AWS," according to Amazon.

This is particularly relevant for Federal government customers, as Federal agency missions are often complex and require a level of expertise far beyond that of an ordinary cloud provider. With Aquilent as their AWS Premier Partner, Federal customers get a government-focused cloud partner to help solve their unique Federal challenges, support their overall federal cloud strategy, and ensure long-term success.
