Aptech launches hardware professional course

NEW DELHI: Aptech Computer Education has announced its new Aptech Certified Hardware Professional course that focuses on networking and hardware training. Speaking on the same, Sanjay Chandhoke, Regional Head — North, Aptech Computer Education said, " Our course encapsulates the in-demand skills in the industry. Christened as NetEngineer, the course is designed to

train students in computer hardware assembly and computer network concepts and set-up.



It can be broadly divided into 3 modules that include A+ certification,

Network+ certification, and Physical Network Set-up. He further stated, "

This comprehensive course prepares the student for A+ and Network+ certification

offered by CompTIA, USA enabling students to handle PC hardware and maintenance,

installation of various operating systems, hardware and software

troubleshooting, setting up of LAN etc.



On successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a CoP as

Aptech Certified Hardware Professional. Formulated after intensive research, the

course is in accordance with industry needs and demands, and is the perfect

springboard for those with the aptitude and leanings towards this dynamic

industry."



The duration of the Certified Hardware Professional course is 128 hours (A+:

76; Network+: 40; Network Set-up: 12). A+ certification includes Hardware:

Installation, Configuration and Upgrading, Diagnosing and Troubleshooting, Preventative Maintenance, Motherboards, Processors and Memory, Printers, Basic Networking, Operating Systems, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 95 &98: Installation, Configuration and Upgrading and Diagnosing and Troubleshooting

Networks.



Network+ certification includes Network Cables and Devices, Network

Protocols, Network Operating Systems, Network Design, Implementation and Maintenance. Physical Network set-up includes Types of cables, Cable standards, LAN standards (Ethernet), LAN connections, Structured cabling: Power wiring and grounding, Spikes surges and sags, Surge suppressors and UPS Wall to desktop connection.
