NEW DELHI: Aptech Computer Education, an IT training company, has been

accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi (ICAI)

for imparting compulsory computer training for CA students.

Speaking on the tie-up, V Balasubramanian, Strategic Business Head — Global IT
Education at Aptech, said, "In today’s environment, computer training is

a must. Premier institutes like the ICAI realize this and have therefore made

computer education compulsory. This is an important step in making chartered

accountants proficient in IT and we are certain more professional institutions

will follow this trend. A tie-up with Aptech ensures that the students attain

top-of-the-line training, as this institute has been consistently delivering

superior results as far as student satisfaction goes."

Added Balasubramanian, "Thousands of ICAI students will undergo this
250-hour compulsory computer training at Aptech centers in 100 cities throughout

the country where ICAI have their regional offices and branches. These include

Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Nashik, Jamshedpur, Chennai, Hyderabad, and

Bhubaneshwar, etc. The course covers MS Office, HTML, accounting packages,

computer aided audit techniques, ERP, Internet, E-commerce and the forthcoming

trends. Instructor-led training will be supplemented with extensive hands-on

training. Regular seminars will be conducted for the benefit of students. "
