AUSTIN, USA: Apptive, the Austin-based mobile commerce app creation and management platform, is excited to announce their new partnership with Shopify.

Apptive has integrated directly with the Shopify API and Shopify App Store to make it simple and fast for Shopify merchants who wish to expand their mobile commerce strategy with an app.

“It has become clear that native mobile commerce apps will continue to grow in importance for our merchants. Apptive offers a compelling option for store owners looking for a convenient, affordable solution that is directly integrated with Shopify”, says Blair Beckwith, Head of Shopify App Store.

Apptive has found success in the eCommerce sector with its EasyApp platform, a drag and drop app creation and management solution geared towards eCommerce platforms like Shopify and their merchant customers. EasyApp allows merchants to create a feature-packed native mobile app in minutes with no coding required.

End customers can browse and buy products directly from the apps without additional management from store owners. The apps also provide native-only functionality, such as push notification messages and deals, which mobile websites cannot deliver.

This integration with Shopify builds on Apptive’s goal to make app creation possible for all eCommerce merchants. “We learned early on app creation needs to be dead simple, taking 15 minutes or less, or users will not stick around to finish building their app”, says Jason Jaynes, Co-Founder and CTO of Apptive.

“We are excited to partner with Shopify and integrate directly with the Shopify API. The result enables all Shopify merchants to create a powerful shopping app for their store in 15 minutes or less, with no coding required.”

Shopify is a commerce platform that allows anyone to easily sell online, at their retail location, and everywhere in between.
