Fight Back: Women in the country can now look forward to alerting their friends and family with the push of a button on sensing danger using a mobile application called 'Fight Back'. Developed by mobile value added services provider CanvasM, the application tracks a user's location and sends SOS messages to selected contacts in case of an emergency.

Scream Alarm!:

This free safety alarm can be extremely useful for women cornered or in distress. The only function of the app is to scream loudly in a woman's voice which would be enough to make any perpetrator to flee. If a woman ever feels insecure walking alone, this app will act as the perfect alarm, not only for scaring away the bad guys but also to bring help in the vicinity.

EyeWatch:

This free application has been designed to help people during difficult situations, especially helpful for women. The app makes your phone double as a safety device allowing you to alert your loved ones discreetly. Even if your GPS does not work or you are inside a building, the app can track your location. The app makes you ensure that your family is safe without having to raise an SOS alert.
