Apple rolls out iOS 11.3 with new Animoji characters

Seems like Apple's problems are not going to end anytime soon. Barely days after it released a software update for the keyboard auto-correct issue with the iPhone X, the company has made another update available to the users. Apple released iOS 11.1.2 specifically to address a bug where the iPhone X became unresponsive to touch input when moving from warm weather to dramatically colder temperatures.

Users had reported issues with missing touch event detection on the iPhone X when it was carried outside in temperatures of around 50 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. Typically, this would mean selectively missed touch input, so that typing was either difficult or impossible, or attempt to open apps or tap on other interface elements appears to just not work.

The update also addresses an issue where the Live Photos and videos captured on the iPhone X showed some visual distortion. Apple has not named any significant security updates in the iOS 11.1.2.

As ever, iOS updates can be downloaded over-the-air using your iPhone or iPad. Just go to Settings –> General –> Software Update, and you should see an option to download and install the patch.
