HYDERABAD: AppLabs Technologies, a Hyderabad based company focussing on
quality testing in the field of IT has joined hands with Pennsylvania based
National Software Testing Laboratories (NTSL) to expand its operations in the
sub-continent.
Under the conditions of the partnership, the two companies have set up an
independent facility for testing of software products and services in Hyderabad.
"We are going to open this facility by October 1 and this would help the
Indian organizations to portray their products and services in the global
market," said AppLabs CEO Shashi Reddy.
"NSTL India is going to offer certification programs that are geared to
help Indian software companies increase exports to the US and the rest of the
world. This will prove to be an opportunity for those companies who are looking
forward to entering into the big International markets," he added.
The company is going to unveil two certification programs for the Indian
market segment - Star product program, targeted towards software product
companies targeting international market and Star developer program which, is
targeted at software development companies who are already addressing UK, US,
Europe, UAE and other international markets.
The cost for evaluating the products and services will be between $2,000 to
$20,000 for a certain company and it depends upon the services that a company
takes from NSTL India. Ideally it takes about two months to evaluate and certify
the products and services for a particular company.
