Apical announces availability of Thecus NAS server for SMB and home users

MUMBAI, INDIA: Apical today announced the launch of Thecus NAS 2-bay N2560 and 4-bay N4560 network attached storage servers targeted for home and SMB users.

With 30% increase in processing power provided by Intel's latest Intel Atom SoC, the N2560 and N4560 are able to provide users with an unprecedented performance/cost ratio. The N2560 memory can be extended to 2GB, advanced DDR3 RAM. With this increase, NAS can easily accommodate multiple users and their multimedia requirements.

Thecus has improved functionality and productivity through the inclusion of the T-OnTheGo remote accessibility feature and the unveiling of the NAS application center online. Expanded accessibility is provided by Thecus' T-OnTheGo smartphone app, which is available for both iOS and Android users.

NAS management software enables users to access, copy, stream, and edit any data between their NAS and mobile device. The NAS servers comes with the preinstalled media player, anti-virus, photo server software and bit torrent.
