Anti-theft Tablet PCs for IT managers

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Motion Computing announced from the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit that the complete line of Motion Tablet PCs now feature the new Intel Core vPro Processors for enhanced security, performance and manageability. In collaboration with Intel, Motion has added support for Intel Anti-Theft Technology (Intel AT) which helps deter theft, and protect valuable data in the event that a tablet is lost or stolen.

In addition to rendering a device inoperable in the event that it is lost or stolen, Intel AT also allows IT managers to re-activate and restore a recovered device to full functionality without damage to the hardware or data. Through a pre-provisioned passphrase or by a recovery token generated by IT, recovered tablet PC’s can quickly be put back into use
