Andhra allots land to Sonata

NEW DELHI: IT consulting and software services Sonata Software Ltd has been allotted eight acres of land in Hyderabad for setting up an IT campus.

Under the Information and Communications Technology policy of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the IT&C department has allotted this land to the company in the IT hub of Poppalguda, Hyderabad.

The company already has a presence in Hyderabad and operates an 800-people facility in the city. This development center plays host to some of the company's key international clients, managing their enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.

According to the company, the proposed development center will function as a dedicated facility for global clients, and further fuel the company's growth and presence in the region.

President and MD of Sonata B Ramaswamy said, "The new campus will help extend our world-class infrastructure to support our future growth plans."
