Analog opens unit in Bangalore

BANGALORE, INDIA: Analog Devices has set up its second development facility in Bangalore. The centre will help develop the company’s analog IC design, high-speed DSP IC design and multimedia embedded software. It is equipped to accommodate 130 engineers. 

 “India’s role in Analog Devices’ global strategy is increasingly becoming crucial and the India Development Centre is considered as the global lead centre of excellence for a variety of core technologies and products . The new development centre is a reiteration of Analog Devices’ commitment to India and we will continue investing in the growth of our employees here,” said Samuel H. Fuller, Vice President - Research and Development, Analog Devices, at the company’s annual event ‘India Technology Day’. The event showcased work by engineers at the firm.
