The streaming app which features Amazon Original shows such as Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle will be going live in Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Spain, and India. Prime Video also has titles in 4K UHD so that customers can enjoy their favorite movies and series with clearer and realistic picture quality.

New customers can sign-up for a Prime Video membership at PrimeVideo.com to stream on Xbox One and many more connected devices. Members can also download all movies and TV shows for offline viewing on mobile devices—that means watching on a plane, train, anywhere, it’s completely up to you. For existing Amazon Prime members, you can start watching today at no additional cost to your Prime membership.

There is a good news for customers in Australia and New Zealand. According to a report in Xbox Wire, to celebrate the launch of Prime Video on the Xbox One, residents of those two countries will be able to enjoy a discounted rate of $2.99 a month to subscribe to Prime Video for the first 6-months, after which it will jump to $5.99.

Meanwhile, it is rumored that Apple TV owners will also be getting Amazon Prime Video support.
