AUTOSAR is a worldwide development partnership of car manufacturers, suppliers and other companies from the electronics, semiconductor and software industry. The primary objective of AUTOSAR is to create an open, standardized software architecture for the automotive industry.

As an Associate partner, Altium will be sharing its extensive experience and knowledge of software development standards, processes and methodologies with the AUTOSAR community.

Altium's offering for the automotive industry comprises the TASKING suite of embedded tools and the Altium Designer integrated design environment. The TASKING embedded tools play an important role in the automotive ecosystem. They are used in different levels of the supply chain, starting within the OEMs and spreading into the wide market of automotive suppliers.
